Zhuhai Sheraton Hotel is an international five star hotel situated in the new Central Business District next to the Zhuhai International Convention Center. The hotel offers an amazing view over the skyline of Macau on one side and over the new convention center on the other side of the building.
Task
The Hotel is designed by HBA which is the world's largest hotel design company. The design of the hotel is combining modern innovation with the traditional Chinese culture. The grand-opening took place in 2015 and making the hotel one of Zhuhai’s latest landmarks.
Our solution
The hotel interior required different design solutions to match with the idea of combining modern innovation with traditional Chinese culture. The temple in the lobby is just one example for the mixture of elements. For matching with the general design ECO was coating or painting the offered door hardware (e.g. hinges, door closer and patch fittings) to offer a common design throughout the hotel. Further to this all public doors are using the die casted OBN20 hinges. The clients have choosed the hinges because of its unique design (concealed ball bearing in a die casted body) and the maintenance free bearing making it an ever lasting solution for the interior of the hotel.
